Counters....

the island is tiled... just waiting to grout all at once

one counter down 1 to go... then the backsplash.. then the grout !!

we ended up painting the stove top, so it would match the other black appliances.

its looking better !!

Now on to the counters !!!

just say "no" to blue counter tops ....

started applying tumbled tile to the counters

then of course the old ugly sink wont look right, so now we must replace the sink too.... one project turns into many !!

( I love my plumbers !!)

I will be glad when my counters are usable again !!

kitchen remodeling - piece by piece

tearing down the old light fixture from the 80's

there it goes... it was big enough to make a 4 person kitchen table !!

it just kept falling and falling.....

we put up a rod iron light fixture !! looks SO much better !!
